Q: I live very far away. Can I do a phone consultation?

A: No. The doctor cannot make give a medical evaluation over the phone. You must come in person to our office for a consultation, an exam, and a written history.

Q: How long should I expect to be at my appointment?

A: We generally suggest patients set aside 45 minutes for their physical exam. Your second appointment you’ll receive your medical marijuana recommendation within about 30 minutes.

Q: Do you accept insurance?

A: No. At this time we are not accepting insurance. We do accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover and cash. No personal checks.

Q: How much is my consultation and evaluation?

A: At your initial physical, the doctor will evaluate your general condition and you’ll be able to ask about any aspect of your health. This visit is no charge. Your second visit will be specific to medical marijuana and cost $150.

Q. What conditions can a doctor write a recommendation for?

In order to qualify for a medical marijuana card, a patient must have one or more of the following conditions:

  1. Cancer
  2. HIV or Aids
  3. Glaucoma
  4. Cachexia
  5. Severe Pain, chronic or debilitating
  6. Severe Nausea, chronic or debilitating
  7. Seizures (including characteristics of epilepsy)
  8. Persistent muscle spasms (including those characteristic of multiple sclerosis)
